The Photography Days at the Asinara Island

In Sardinia, welcomed by the summer solstice in the evocative setting of the Asinara National Park and over the course of three days, 20 participants selected through the open call will settle in accommodations and study spaces spread throughout the almost untouched nature reserve, to dialogue on a broad spectrum of the main themes of photography and its surroundings, in an edition dedicated this year to the contamination between the arts.

During the days of the event, exceptional guests (including the philosopher Giorgio Agamben, the writer Edoardo Albinati, Simon Baker, curator of photography at the Tate and director of the European House of Photography, Maurizio Caprara, journalist, Marco Delogu, photographer, curator and artistic director of the event, Bartolomeo Pietromarchi, director at MAXXI Art, photographer Paolo Ventura) will interact with the participants in a full program of lectures, talks, screenings and workshops.

The participation fee will be entirely borne by the Foundation of Sardinia thanks also to the support of the Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and includes hospitality and board on the island during the course of the event and participation in the planned activities.
